Louisville Now 4-4 After Win at Fitch – Boys Basketball
Louisville 76, Austintown Fitch 65
The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team defeated the host Austintown Fitch Falcons 76-65 Tuesday Night at AFHS. With the victory, Louisville evens their record to 4-4 on the year.
Chris Libertore scored a team-high 24 points and Jared Mathie poured in 19 to lead the Leopards. Brody Hahn also dropped in 9 and both Brandon Wahl & Derek Zeller added 8 each for Louisville.
The Leopards edged the Falcons 19-17 in the first quarter before taking command of the game in the second quarter. Louisville took a 36-27 lead into the half and never relinquished their advantage. They outscored Austintown Fitch 40-38 in the second half to take the game.
The Falcons were led by Randy Smith who scored a game-high 25 points. Larry Harrington also scored 12 and Jakari Zumsolen dropped in 11 for Fitch.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to Minerva to take on the Lions on Friday, January 6. JV will start at 6:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:30 PM.
