Shafer Shoots Career Low as Leopards Dominate Tri at Legends – Boys Golf

The Leopard Boys Golf Team defeated the Massillon Tigers and Canton South Wildcats at the Legends of Massillon on Thursday afternoon. The Leopards were led by Junior Justin Shafer’s career low 9 hole score of one under par, 35, to earn Medalist honors. Rounding out the scoring for the Leopards were Caleb Prasco with a 39, Connor Wendt with a 44, and Mark Kennedy with a career low 9 of 44.
Scoring for the Wildcats were Brayden Brooks with a 47, Kameron Long with a 47, Logan Zaleski with a 47, and Maddox Kruger with a 48.
Scoring for the Tigers were Nate Albrecht with a 42, Braxton Miller with a 46, Jordan Franimo with a 51, and TJ Harper with a 51.
The win improves the Leopards match record to 2-1. We will travel to J.E. Good Park Golf Course tomorrow to play Akron Firestone beginning at 10:15 am.
