Leopards Earn Road Shutout At West Holmes – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team shutout the host West Holmes Knights 5-0 on the road Wednesday. With the win, Louisville improves to 5-1 on the season.
The Lady Leopards won all three singles matches in straight sets outscoring the Knights in set points 36-2 in the process. Jo Menegay and Sherilynn Mullett won their matches a perfect 6-0, 6-0 in #2 and #3 singles respectively. Rachel Kibler also dominated #1 singles 6-1, 6-1.
In doubles action, the tandem of Amanda Plaskett and Jade Thomas earned a 6-0, 6-1 win for Louisville in #1 doubles. The #2 doubles team of Carleen Fouts and Bailey Menegay also won by default.
This was the first ever meeting between the two schools in girls tennis.
