Louisville Blanks West Branch 2-0 on the Road – Boys Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Soccer Team shutout the host West Branch Warriors 2-0 Tuesday Night at West Branch High School. With the win, Louisville improves to 5-6-1 overall and 3-2 in league matches.
Bailey Adams scored a pair of first half goals to lead the Leopards offense. Riley Adams and Hunter Foley recorded the assists on those goals.
Goalie Clayton McLaughlin finished with 14 saves and the shutout to lead Louisville on defense. The Warriors out-shot the Leopards 15-13 for the game and held a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Louisville has now won two straight over West Branch for the first time in team history. The Leopards still trail the all-time series against the Warriors 5-10-3, which includes a 2-5-2 mark in Beloit. Louisville’s only other win at West Branch came in another 2-0 victory on October 2, 2012. This is the third time the Leopards have recorded a shutout against the Warriors as they also blanked them 3-0 in their 2016 meeting.
