Leopards Claw Grizzlies 4-1 – Girls Tennis

Louisville 4, Wadsworth 1

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team won their match against the host Wadsworth Grizzlies 4-1 on the road Wednesday. With the win, Louisville ups their mark to 12-4 on the season.

The Leopards won all three singles matches in two sets to take the team victory. Rachel Kibler dominated #1 singles 6-0, 6-3 to lead Louisville. Both Jo Menegay in #2 singles and Sherilynn Mullett in #3 singles won their opening set in a tie-breaker and then went on to take their match in the second set. Menegay won her match 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 and Mullett took home a victory by the final tally of 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.

The Lady Leopards #1 doubles team was also victorious in a hard fought match. They won 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5 to solidify the team win.

The Lady Grizzlies were led by the #2 doubles team of Novak and Collum who won their match 6-4, 7-5.
