Lady Leopards JV Suffers 1st Loss at Norton 43-41 – Girls Basketball
JV: Norton 43, Louisville 41
The Louisville Leopards Girls JV Basketball Team suffered their first loss of the season as they were edged out by the Norton Panthers 43-41 Tuesday Evening. This game was part of a Holiday Tournament held at the brand new Canton South High School. With the loss, Louisville JV is now 6-1 on the year.
Paige Cole led the Lady Leopards by hitting double figures with a team-high 10. Sydney Bast also scored 8 and Sherilynn Mullett dropped in 7 for Louisville.
The two squads played exactly even in three of the four quarters. The score was knotted at 15-15 at the end of one and 23-23 by halftime. The Panthers went ahead 31-29 at the end of the third and each team scored 12 points in the final period.
Logan Favor scored a game-high 17 points to lead Norton. Madison Burns and Paisionoe Harper also added 10 each for the Lady Panthers.
