Goalie Joe Reynolds earned Louisville’s second shutout of the season with 6 saves in the net.

This is just the Leopards second win over the Lions in their past 9 meetings. Coming into Tuesday’s match, Louisville had gone winless at Minerva in their previous 6 meetings (0-5-1) in the series on the road. Their last win at Minerva was a 2-1 victory on September 5, 2006. The three goal margin is the largest over the Lions since 2002 when they defeated them 4-1 and this also marks the first time they’ve shutout Minerva since a 2-0 home win on September 7, 2005.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Field Falcons on Thursday, September 19. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 PM from Louisville Leopards Stadium.
