Lady Leopards Open Season with Victory at Green – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team opened up the 2018 campaign with a 3-2 road victory over the host Green Bulldogs Monday.

The Leopards won all three singles matches in straight sets. Rachel Kibler earned a 6-4, 6-1 victory in her #1 Singles debut. Jo Menegay also won 6-4, 6-0 in #2 Singles and Sherilynn Mullett won 6-1, 6-2 in #3 Singles.

The Bulldogs won both doubles matches in straight sets as well. The pairs of Lauren DePew & Emily Christopher and Cece Kestner & Olivia Atkinison made up the winning teams for Green.

The Leopards lead the all-time series over the Bulldogs 8-2.
