Emmons Records 7th Shutout

Senior goalkeeper Noah Emmons recorded his seventh shutout of the season to help preserve the Leopards third tie of the year. Green banged a free kick off the right post in the final minutes as the final threat to the shutout before the game ended.

Emmons’ 7 shutouts this season ties him for second all-time with Austin Terra (2012) and Jarrett Zwick (2016). Emmons needs one more shutout to tie the team record of a 8 shutouts in a season set by Joe Reynolds in 2020.


6th Scoreless Tie in Team History

The 0-0 final is the sixth scoreless tie in Louisville Boys Soccer history. This is also the first time the Leopards have played two scoreless ties in the same season. Louisville also played to a 0-0 draw with GlenOak back on September 2.

Louisville Vs. Green Boys Soccer Series

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe Leopards are now 0-3-1 against the Bulldogs all-time with all four matchups being played at Green. This was he first meeting between the two squads since a tournament game at Green in October 24, 2015. The Bulldogs won that DI Austintown Sectional Final 5-0.

Louisville has tied all three of their Federal League opponents this season. They will take on their final scheduled Federal League foe when host the Perry Panthers on October 7.

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe Leopards JV was doubled up by the host Bulldogs 2-1 Saturday at the Green Soccer Complex. With the loss, Louisville drops to an even 5-5-1 on the season.

The Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead into halftime. Junior Will Pochubay broke the shutout with a second half goal for the Leopards via an assist from freshman Cale Lindner.
