Louisville Leopards at GlenOak Golden Eagles Boys Basketball 2019 Video Highlights

GlenOak 73, Louisville 55

The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team fell to the host GlenOak Golden Eagles 73-55 in the Kosta Koufos Classic Saturday Evening at GlenOak High School. With the loss, Louisville falls to 11-6 on the season.

Cam King hit 4 three-pointers and scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Leopards. King was awarded player of the game after the contest. Colton Jones also made 3 triples and finished with 14. Spencer Hall rounded out the double digit Louisville scorers with 13.

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdHost GlenOak shot out of the locker room in capturing a 21-9 advantage at the end of one. Six different Golden Eagles scored 3 or more points in the opening period to build their cushion. The Leopards cut into the deficit by outscoring GlenOak 13-11 in the second, but the differential still remained double digits at the half 32-22.

The Golden Eagles offense started the second half as they had the first half. Seven different players scored in the third quarter which saw GlenOak outscore Louisville 23-14 to take a 55-36 lead at the end of three. The Leopards would go on to outscore the Golden Eagles 19-18 in the final period to make the final 73-55.

GlenOak (8-8) was led by their player of the game Joe Miller who scored 12 of his team-high 16 points in the second half. Others reaching double figures for the Eagles included Josiah Harris with 14 points, Kindel Richardson with 11 points, and Christian Parker with 10 points.

This was the first meeting between the two schools in Boys Basketball since Louisville fell at GlenOak 75-65 in the 2009 season finale.

Dakota Hoffman hit 4 three-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Leopards JV to a 50-49 overtime win over the Golden Eagles. Allen Staley also scored 8 and Kurt Haren added 6 as the Louisville JV improved to 11-6.
