Louisville Leopards at Austintown Fitch Falcons 2019 Basketball Highlights

The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team fell on the road against the host Austintown Fitch Falcons 59-44 Tuesday Night. With the loss, Louisville falls to 0-2 on the year.
Scott Gronow scored all of his team-high 11 points in the first half to lead the Leopards. Collin Chambers and Dakota Hoffman also added 7 points each for Louisville who had nine different players make the scorebook.
LHS trailed 14-6 at the end of the first quarter, but rallied in the second. Gronow scored 9 of the Leopards 20 second quarter points as they trimmed the Austintown advantage to 28-26 by halftime. However, the Falcons dominated the third quarter 19-2 to rip the game open taking a 47-28 lead into the fourth quarter. Louisville would outscore Fitch 16-12 in the final stanza, but the damage had already been done.
Austintown Fitch was led by Todd Simons who scored 16 of his game-high 27 points in the second half. Nate Leskovc also hit double digits with 10. Kris Brown and Devin Sherwood both tacked on 7.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Hubbard Eagles on Friday, December 6. JV will begin at 5:30 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:00 PM.
