The Louisville Leopards Boys Freshman Basketball team defeated the previously undefeated Canton South Wildcats 65-45 at Louisville Elementary School Thursday Evening. With the victory, Louisville improves to 7-2 overall and remains an undefeated 5-0 against NBC foes.
Allen Staley hit 5 of the Leopards 11 three-pointers to lead Louisville with a game-high 19 points. Collin Chambers and Austin Pugh also made 3 three-pointers each. Chambers finished with 18 and Pugh ended the evening with 11 points.
The Leopards outscored the Wildcats in every quarter. They led 16-12 at the end of the first quarter before taking a double digits 33-23 lead into the half. Louisville extended their lead to 51-37 by the end of the third and continued to build their lead in the final period for a 20-point win.
