Louisville Girls Basketball Gives Back During the Holidays
The Lady Leopards finished the 2019 part of their season on December 28th with a win over Cardinal Mooney. Even with no games scheduled until January 6th the Girls Basketball team took time to get together on Dec. 30th for their first annual Team Lock-in. It gave the girls a chance to eat together, play basketball shooting games, and give back to the community.
The team took a few hours to make blankets that are being donated to Akron Children’s Hospital. This was the first of two community projects the team is doing this season. The second is on February 4th as the team will host Empower Sports from 6:00-7:30 and will help run a Basketball Clinic for Special Needs kids.
