Louisville Explodes Late to Down Salem
Louisville 11, Salem 4
Louisville used two 5-run innings to rally from a deficit and down the visiting Salem Quakers 11-4. With the victory, the Leopards improved to 5-8 overall and 5-3 in the NBC.
Joe Crank and Garrett Yoder each batted 3-for-4 with 3 runs batted in to lead Louisville. Alex 
Hollifield and Connor Zwick also had 2 hits and scored 2 runs each.
The Leopards tallied just 1 run on 4 hits during the first four innings and trailed 3-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth. Louisville pounded out 10 runs on 10 hits during the fifth and sixth innings.
On the mound, Jake Adams pitched a complete game, gave up 2 earned runs on 7 hits, and struck out 5. Adams is now 2-1 on the season for the Leopards.
With the victory, Louisville is now 5-0 against Salem since the Quakers entered the NBC in 2012.
