Louisville Swept on the Road by St. Vincent-St. Mary – Boys Volleyball

The Louisville Leopards Boys Volleyball Team fell on the road to a strong St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish squad, dropping a straight-set match 19-25, 19-25, 22-25 Wednesday night at Lebron James Arena. With the loss, the Leopards fall to 4-3 on the season.
Leopards Battle but Fall Short in Three Sets
Senior outside hitter Brock Cole led the Leopards offensively with a team-high 9 kills, while junior setter Cale Lindner facilitated the attack with 15 assists. Senior libero Kyle Deem paced the defense with 7 digs, and freshman Ayden Mihelic added 3 aces from the service line.
Louisville showed resilience throughout the match, particularly in the third set where the Leopards pushed the Fighting Irish to the brink. However, St. Vincent-St. Mary was able to close out each set to complete the sweep.
St. Vincent-St. Mary Takes Third Straight from Louisville
The Leopards are now 0-3 against the Fighting Irish all-time. They dropped 2 out of 3 sets to St. Vincent-St. Mary at the Mount Union Tournament in 2024. Louisville was also swept by the Irish at home last season 17-25, 20-25, 17-25.
