The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Soccer Team tied the host Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders Thursday Night at Roosevelt Stadium. With the draw, Louisville is now 3-4-2 on the season.

Burton and Johnston Put Leopards in Front
Trailing 1-0, Carter Burton and Nick Johnston scored back-to-back first half goals to put the Leopards ahead 2-1. Hudson Barthel provided the assist on the first score and Burton assisted Johnston on the second goal.
Burton has now scored a team best 9 goals on the season, while Johnston is right on his tail with 8 goals on the campaign. The assist is Burton’s second of the year and the first for Hudson Barthel.
Foradis Records 5 Saves
The Rough Riders scored before halftime to knot the game at 2-2. Neither team scored in the second half and the game ended in a draw.
Goalkeeper Giovanni Foradis recorded 5 goals in net for Louisville.
Leopards Vs. Rough Riders Boys Soccer Series
This was the first meeting between the Leopards and Rough Riders since 2015. Louisville now trails the all-time series 0-2-2, which includes a 0-1-2 mark when playing at Kent Roosevelt in the series. The only other tie in the series came in that 2015 game, a 1-1 knot.

The Leopard Boys JV Soccer Team rallied in the second half to also force a draw with the host Rough Riders. Louisville JV is now 4-4-2 following this result.
Drew Lidner scored the Leopards only goal of the first half to knot the game at 1-1. Kent Roosevelt took a 2-1 lead into halftime. Lindner then provided the assist for Maddox Mayle’s game-knotting second half goal before the game ended in a tie.
