Louisville held Canton South to just 80 yards of offense during their second straight shutout of a winless NBC foe on October 8, 1993. The Leopards downed the Wildcats 28-0 in the Week 6 matchup.

“It was one that I can say was a complete team win,” Leopards Head Coach Rick Crislip spoke of his team’s effort. “Each one did his part.”

The Louisville offense gained 283 yards in the contest led by Quarterback Ryan Crislip’s perfect 8-for-8 Beatty's Sports Grey Hat Adperformance for 138 yards through the air. Crislip hooked up for touchdowns of 53 and 10 yards to Bob Burick for the Leopards scores through air.

On the ground, Runningback Dan Wilson led the way with 21 carries for 104 yards. However, it was Fullback Chris Menengay that found the endzone twice from a yard away.

Tony Long intercepted a pass after the Wildcats drove to the 9 yard line to end the only real Canton South threat. The Cats were led by Chris Williams who ran the ball 13 times for 41 yards. The Leopards held the Wildcats to 56 yards rushing and 24 yards passing for the game to improve to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the NBC.
