The Louisville Leopards racked up 422 yards of offense and 6 touchdowns in the opening half during their 51-0 rout of visiting West Branch Friday at Louisville Leopards Stadium. The victory was Louisville Football’s 600th all-time as they improved to 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in the conference.

Quarterback Connor Zwick led the Leopards by completing 12 of 13 passes for 270 yards & 4 touchdowns through the air and ran the ball 9 times for 82 yards & a touchdown on the ground.

Louisville scored touchdowns on 6 of their first 7 offensive drives. Zwick threw touchdown passes of 30 & 8 to Alec Jones, from 63 yards out to Tyler Adams, and from 15 yards away to Ryan Lautner. Zwick and Kyle Woost also scored on one yard touchdown runs as the Leopards took a 43-0 halftime lead.

Adams led all receivers with 2 catches for 78 yards and had 43 yards rushing, Woost also had 2 catches for 62 yards and rushed for 27 yards, and Josh Swanson made 2 catches for 58 yards. In addition, Jones and Lautner had 3 grabs each. Reis Rankin also caught a two-point conversion pass from Joe Crank.

With a running clock in the second half, the Leopards cruised to victory. Sean McKinney captured the main second half highlight when he scampered to a 14 yard touchdown run on 4th-and-Goal. Noah Bellew ran in the two-point try to put Louisville ahead 51-0 with 9:17 left in the 4th Quarter. Brody Hahn also dazzled the crowd with 49 yards on 3 carries at Quarterback.

The victory was the most lob-sided in the history of the Louisville-West Branch Rivalry. The Leopards now lead the all-time series with the Warriors 23-7 which includes a 12-4 record at Louisville. The Leopards have now taken 14 out of the last 16 contests against the Warriors and have won their last conference games overall. All-Time, Louisville Football now has a record of 600-272-36.
