Leopards Put on Clinic at Carrollton, Score Most Goals Since 2010
Louisville 10, Carrollton 1
The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer team upended the host Carrollton Warriors 10-1 Tuesday evening. With the victory, Louisville is now 2-2 overall and 1-1 in NBC Play.
Austin Terra netted four goals for the second time this season and Derek Zeller recorded his first career Hat Trick. Bradley Terra also scored a pair of goals and Micah Storlie made the score that gave the Leopards double digits. Austin Terra, Zeller, Trevor Burk, and Mitch Perez also tallied assists during the contest.
This marks the most goals a Leopards Boys Soccer team has scored in a single game since Louisville defeated Ravenna 10-1 in the Sectional Finals back on October 23, 2010. It is also the most goals a Leopard team has scored on the road since they defeated Northwest 15-1 back on September 28, 2010.
With the victory, the Leopards have now defeated the Warriors in three consecutive meetings. Louisville now leads the all-time series 10-2, which includes a 5-1 mark at Carrollton.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders on Thursday, September 4 at 7:00 PM at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
