Coventry 5, Louisville 2

The Coventry Comets broke a 1-1 second half tie by scoring 4 goals in a span of 9 minutes to down the host Louisville Leopards 5-2 in the opening scrimmage of the 2013 season.

After a Coventry goal early on, Louisville knotted the game at 1-1 via a Micah Neuenschwander goal Beatty's Sports White Hat Adwith 4:03 remaining in the opening half. Harrison Raub intercepted the Comets goal kick before providing the assist for Neuenschwander.

Coventry would score four unanswered goals in response, two of which were scored within 25 seconds of each other. Austin Hallas would also add a goal for Louisville off a free kick to finalize the score at 5-2.

Thunder was heard throughout the stadium with 13:35 left in the second half. As a result the scrimmage ended.
