Louisville began the game on a 23-1 run before rolling to a 68-51 victory over visiting Akron North Tuesday at LHS. Blake Hoover scored 20 points for the second straight game, Chris Libertore poured in 15 points & hit 3 three-pointers, and Bryce Mathie added 10 points to lead the Leopards.

Bulkright would go on to have a game-high 23 points for North.

Louisville led 38-16 at halftime and 52-24 at the end of the third. The Leopards took their biggest lead of the contest at 62-29 early on in the fourth quarter before cruising to victory.

The two teams combined for 47 fouls and 52 free throws. Louisville converted 16 of 24 free throws from the line which proved to be very similar to the final point differential.

The Leopards are now 2-1 against the Vikings all-time which includes a 2-0 record at Louisville.

Matt Eddins hit 4 three-pointers and dropped in 19 points to help lead the Leopards JV squad to their first victory of the season.

Eddins poured in 11 of his points in the third quarter which included scoring 8 points in a span of 56 seconds to give Louisville a 36-27 advantage. Amazingly the Vikings answered with a 10-0 run of their own and then the Leopards scored the next 10 points to take a 46-37 lead. Tyler Adams scored 6 of his 10 points during the run.

Brock Haren scored all of his 11 points in the first half as Louisville improved to 1-2.
