Leopards Dropped by Back-to-Back Quakers
New Philadelphia 64, Louisville 35
New Philadelphia led the entire way and went on to beat host Louisville 64-35 Tuesday night. The Leopards were led by Blake Hoover with 13 and Joe Crank with 7.
The Quakers used a 20-point second quarter and a 22-pointer third quarter to build their advantage. Ethan Boose scored a team-high 16 points for New Philadelphia and Marco Colombo also poured in 14 points for the Quakers.
New Philadelphia nailed 5 three-pointers during the contest. Dylan Hagan hit 3 of those long range shots to finish with 9 points and Braden Young hit the other two and finished with 8.
Eight of the Nine different Leopards that scored in the game only tallied a single fieldgoall a piece.
With their fourth straight loss, the Leopards are now 3-9 on the season while the Quakers improved to 9-5. Over the four year series, New Philadelphia topped Louisville 3 games to 1.

Varsity (1/11): Salem 47, Louisville 43
Visiting Louisville fought hard Friday night at Salem’s John A. Cabas Gymnasium, but the league-contending Quakers won the contest 47-43. Ronnie Carter led the Leopards with 11 points, while Blake Hoover poured in 9 and Jake Adams tallied 8.
Louisville led the contest 31-27 after the third period, but a 20-12 fourth quarter run by Salem gave the Quakers the game and kept their NBC Title hopes alive. Anthony Shivers led the Quakers with 13 points and Ryan Bush added 12. Bush also scored his 1,000th point during the contest on a free throw that gave Salem a 43-42 lead, one they would never relinquished.

Jake Pukys poured in 14 points and Jake Mathie added 8, but it would not be enough as the Leopards JV Squad fell to New Philadelphia 55-43 Tuesday.
The Leopards led 12-9 after the first quarter, but the Quakers outscored Louisville 48-31 the rest of the way to drop the JV Leps to 7-4 on the year.
Julian Phillip led the Quakers with 12 points. Stephen Kerzan also scored 7, while Riley Graybeal added 6 for the Leps.

JV (1/11): Louisville 47, Salem 43
Louisville hit 7 three-pointers en rout to a 47-43 victory over host Salem Friday night.
Jake Adams led Louisville with 4 three-pointers which accounted for all of his team-high 12 points. Jake Mathie and Drew Noble each added 8 a piece for the Leps as well.
Louisville led 14-11 after one, 27-26 at halftime, and 39-34 after three. Salem did outscore Louisville 9-8 in the fourth quarter, but the Leopards managed to hang on to move to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference.
