Leopard Swim Team Sinks Crosstown Knights in Opener

The Louisville Leopards Boys & Girls Swim Teams opened up the 2014 season with a combined 245-47 victory over the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Knights at the Louisville YMCA Wednesday Evening. The Boys won 112-33 and the Girls won 133-14.

Louisville captured first place in every single event including 16 individual events and 6 relays.

Individuals winning multiple events for the Boys included Tim Carter (100 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle), Austin Graham (50 Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke), Nick Wertz (200 IM, 400 Freestyle), Alex Wesely (100 Backstroke, 100 Butterfly).

Lady Leopards winning multiple events included Allison Richmond (200 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke), Alaina Hartley (50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle), and Amy Yu (200 IM, 100 Butterfly).
