Leopards Double Up Tigers to Finish Preseason 3-1 – Boys Soccer
Louisville 2, Lake Center Christian 1
The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Soccer Team doubled up the visiting Lake Center Christian Tigers 2-1 in their final scrimmage Tuesday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville finishes the preseason with a mark of 3-1.
All three goals were scored in the first half of the contest. Maddox Drake-McKimm broke the ice to give the Leopards the early lead via an assist from Mason Foley. The Tigers answered with a score to knot the game at 1-1 after that.
The Leopards took the lead back in the first half when Logan Sanders scored the go-ahead goal via an assist from Riley Adams.
Louisville would ride their 2-1 halftime lead all the way to the end. Goalie Joe Reynolds and the Leopards defense kept Lake Center Christian scoreless in the final 40 minutes.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next open up the season on the road against the Ravenna Ravens on Friday, August 23 at 7:00 PM.
