Lacrosse Commands Generals 12-8

Louisville 12, Wooster 8
The Louisville Leopards downed the visiting Wooster Generals 12-8 in Varsity Lacrosse action Tuesday at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the win, Louisville remains an unbeaten 3-0 on the year.
Austin Terra led the Leopards by scoring 5 goals during the contest. Jared Holland also recorded 4 assists unofficially and added a pair of scores.
After a long Wooster possession out of the gate, Louisville surged to score 6 goals in the opening period. The Leopards would take a 7-2 advantage into the break and then up their lead to as much as 10-3 in the third quarter.
The Generals answered with a run of three straight goals before Holland & Terra answered with back-to-back goals to give the Leps a commanding 12-6 lead. Louisville cruised after that.
Jake Mathie and Louis Keller also scored two goals a piece and Mark Soehnlen also added a score. In the crease, Jarrod Moran made several key saves that helped Louisville maintain their advantage.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Youngstown Cardinal Mooney Cardinals on Friday, April 17. JV is slated to begin at 5:30 PM with Varsity following at 7:30 PM.
