Balderson Records Hat Trick for Leopards

Equitable Advisors - Bryce MathieBlake Balderson recorded a hat trick to lead Louisville in scoring. He scored the game’s opening goal just minutes into the contest. Kent Roosevelt would tie the game at 2-2 later in the first quarter, but Balderson would answer back to give the Leopards a 3-2 lead once more. His hat trick goal would also prove to be the deciding goal that put Louisville in front 6-4 with 3:01 to play in the third quarter.


LaScola Registers Game High 3 Assists

Adler LaScola provided assists on all 3 of Balderson’s scores and scored a pair of goals himself to help lead the offense. He upped the Leopard lead to 5-3 via an assist from Mason Warner with 7:30 to go before halftime. LaScola also registered Louisville’s final goal unassisted with 2:31 left in the third quarter.

Seth Colley scored, via an assist from Hayden Beckett, to put the Leopards ahead 2-0 early on. Colley later recorded an assist for Brandon Pittman’s goal that doubled the Louisville advantage to 4-2 with 20 seconds remaining in the opening quarter.


Schafer Earns Win in Goal for Louisville

Leopard goalkeeper Austin Schaefer turned away shot after shot from the Kent Roosevelt onslaught all night long. After the Rough Riders trimmed the Louisville lead to 5-4, Schaefer allowed just one goal over the final 21 minutes to preserve the second LHS victory of the year.


Leopards Vs. Rough Riders Lacrosse Series

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe Leopards have now defeated the Rough Riders in back-to-back meetings. Louisville won at Kent Roosevelt last season 9-6. The Leopards are now 2-6 against the Rough Riders all–time, which includes a 1-4 record against Kent Roosevelt when playing at Louisville Leopards Stadium.

The Rough Riders have now lost three straight games and 12 of their last 13 overall. Kent Roosevelt holds a 2-13 record on the season and finishes the regular season 0-9 on the road.
