JV Football Routs Carrollton 40-0
Louisville 40, Carrollton 0
The Louisville Leopards JV Football team had to wait two weeks for game action after Salem cancelled their game with them last Saturday. In their return to the field, they stormed out to a 40-0 halftime advantage before cruising to victory by the same score against visiting Carrollton Saturday Morning at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville is 3-1 overall and 2-0 against NBC foes.
Quarterback Brody Hahn did it all for the Leopards as he ran for two touchdowns & a conversion, completed two conversion passes to Tyler Croxton, and intercepted a pass on defense. Runningback Noah Bellew also scored on touchdown runs of 2 and 16, Sean McKinney rushed for a touchdown and a conversion, and Cole Weston ran for a two-point conversion for Louisville offensively.
The Leopards forced three turnovers in the first half and turned them all into touchdowns. Corey White recovered a fumble on special teams and as a result Louisville ended up with a 16-0 lead before Carrollton’s offense touched the ball. Later on in the second quarter, Reis Rankin forced a fumble and Michael Seaman fell on it to setup the Leopards with another short field.
UP NEXT: The JV Leopards will next travel to West Branch to take on the Warriors on Saturday, October 4 at 10:00 AM.
