JV Football Blanked By Hoover 14-0

North Canton Hoover 14, Louisville 0

The Louisville Leopards JV Football Team was shutout by the visiting North Canton Hoover Vikings 14-0 Beatty's Sports Louisville Football 2016 White T-ShirtSaturday Morning at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville drops to 0-2 on the year.

Quarterback David Forrest ran for a score and threw for another score to lead the Vikings. Forrest broke free for a 36 yard scamper with just 49 seconds remaining in the first half. Later on in the third quarter, Forrest connected with Jackson Davis on a short pass to the left for a 22 yard touchdown pass to make it 14-0.

The Leopards highlights mostly came on defense as they forced two turnovers late in the contest. JennCanAdDefensive Back Quintin Scheetz tipped away a would be Hoover touchdown and it landed in the hands of fellow Defensive Back Ezekiel Changet who recorded the interception at the Leopards 2 yard line.

The Vikings threatened again on their next drive inside the Louisville 10. However, Defensive Lineman Riley Brendle and Defensive Back Blake Davis combined to strip the North Canton ballcarrier around the Leopards 5. The ball bounced into the endzone where Leopards Defensive Lineman Spencer Hall fell on it for the touchback.

Dillon Rebuck, Jacob Urick, and Dylan Walczak also stormed in to record sacks for the Louisville defense.
