Three Leopards Score Goals

The Leopards scored a pair of goals in the opening quarter and added another score in the third quarter. Mason Warner got Louisville on the board first via a feed from Keegan Coy at the 8:26 mark. Parker Daum then trimmed the deficit to a single goal again by finding the back of the net with exactly five minutes remaining in the opening quarter.

The Hornets would score the next seven goals to take firm command of the game. Kane Johns snapped the hickory scoring run with a goal off a pass from Daum with 27 seconds remaining in the third quarter to make it 10-3.


Chornenky Scores 8 Goals to Lead Hornets

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdFour-sport athlete Nate Chornenky scored a game-high 8 goals to lead the Hornets. Chornenky recorded a hat trick with 6:49 left in the opening quarter. He then added a pair of goals in each of the next two quarters before capping off all scoring with his eighth goal of the night late in the fourth quarter to make it 12-3.

Anthony Jordan registered a hat trick just 47 seconds prior to Chornenky’s final goal. He scored the opening goal in each of the final three quarters. Levi Wilson scored the only other goal for Hickory in the second quarter.

West Main Vet Clinic AdThe Hornets remain undefeated 4-0 on the season, outscoring opponents 68-11.

The Leopards fall to 0-2 all-time against the Hornets. Louisville fell at Hickory 8-5 last season.
