Hahn Shines in Final Game as a Leopard in East-West Contest

The West All-Stars defeated the East-All-Stars 35-33 in the annual Canton Repository-Malone University East-West All-Star Game held at GlenOak’s Bob Commings Field Saturday Evening. Tuslaw‘s John Cybak hit a 44-yard field goal in the final seconds to lift the West to their third straight win to even the all-time series at 14-14.
Louisville Quarterback Brody Hahn led the East Squad by completing 9 of 12 passes for 247 yards through the air. Hahn threw a 70 yard bomb to North Canton Hoover Receiver Donny Genetin in the opening quarter for the game’s first score. The pair would hook up all night as Genetin made 8 grabs for a record 205 yards receiving to obliterate the previous East-West single-game record by 58 yards.

Hahn also carried the ball 7 times for 25 yards and scored twice on the ground. He scampered in from 10 yards away in the third quarter to get the East to within 27-24. Then in the fourth quarter, Hahn scored the go-ahead touchdown from 7 yards away to give the East squad the lead with only 42 seconds to go.
Other Leopards representatives included Dillon Deckerd, Chase Lautzenheiser, and Casey Nau.
