Girls Lacrosse Wins Inaugural Game At Lake 16-3

The Louisville Lady Leopards shined bright in their inaugural game as a Girls Lacrosse Program. Beatty's Pink Winter Hat 2015Louisville defeated the host Lake Blue Streaks 16-3 on a Windy Saturday Afternoon to improve to 1-0.

The Leopards roared out to a 12-1 halftime lead and out-shot the Blue Streaks 29-9 for the game. Emily Hollifield led the Leopards by scoring a game-high 7 goals. Alexa Oberster also scored 5 goals, added 2 assists, and won 14 of 19 draws to give Louisville an advantage all game long.

On Defense, Celia Keefe recorded 6 saves in goal. Regan Thomas and Liz Pugh also recorded 3 forced Order Leopard Nation Highlight Videoturnovers.

Also on offense, Pugh scored a pair of goals, Emily Shea had a goal & an assist, and Kloe Mercorelli added a score.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the St. Vincent-St. Mary Irish on Monday, April 4 at 6:00 PM.
