Girls Golf Completes Three-Peat At NBC Tournament
Louisville – 340 (1st Out of 7)
The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Golf Team clinched the NBC Outright by shooting an all-time team 
best 340 at the NBC Tournament Thursday at Zoar Golf Course. Louisville has now won three consecutive conference titles.
Sierra Townsend shot a team low 78 to lead the Leopards. Also scoring for Louisville were Abby Beaver 82, Bailey Spring 84, and Gabby Spehar 96. The Leopard finished 24 strokes ahead of second place Carrollton (364) and 47 strokes ahead of third place Minerva (387). The 340 mark also eclipsed the 18-hole team record low set by Louisville earlier this year in the Tri-County Preseason Tournament by 10 strokes.
The Tri-County Postseason Tournament was going on simultaneously at Zoar Golf Course. Louisville placed third behind champion Dover (312) and second place Garaway (320).
On Tuesday, host Carrollton spoiled Louisville’s chance at a perfect run through the NBC by the count of 169-191. However, the Lady Leopards also defeated Canton South 191-263 in the same tri-meet at Carroll Meadows to clinch the NBC Regular Season Title Outright.
Townsend shot a team-low 41 to lead Louisville in the tri-match. Rounding out the scoring for the Leopards were Bailey Spring 47, Abby Beaver 51, and Gabby Spehar 53.
The Warriors were led by Grace Bartow who shot a match-best 38 and Morgan Poling led the Wildcats with a team-low 52.
Louisville finishes the regular season with a 16-3 overall record and an 11-1 record in league matches. Both marks are all-time bests in terms of wins and winning percentage for the Lady Leopards Golf Program.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next compete at the Stark County Championship Tournament on Saturday, September 26. Tee-Time is set for 9:00 AM at Tam O Shanter Golf Course.
