Louisville 209, Alliance 237

The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Golf team breezed past a young Alliance Aviators team 209-237 at Skyland Pines Golf Club Thursday. With the victory, Louisville is now 4-3 overall and 4-2 in the NBC.

Sierra Townsend led all players in the match with a score of 43. Rounding out the scoring for the Leopards were Summer Walters 54, Aubrey Leone 55, and Abby Beaver 57.

The Aviators were led by Kylee Young with a team low of 55. Ironic that Alliance’s top score would come from “Young” as their top four scorers were all Freshman. The other three included Madi Gasparik 58, Natalie Bert 61, and Debra Jackson 63.

AVIATORS SCORES: Kylee Young 55, Madi Gasparik 58, Natalie Bert 61, Debra Jackson 63, Taylor Orzo 72, Lauren Ward 80. TEAM TOTAL = 237.

LEOPARDS SCORES: Sierra Townsend 43, Summer Walters 54, Aubrey Leone 55, Abby Beaver 57, Logan Anderson 58, McKayla Bates 60. TEAM TOTAL = 209.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Salem to take on the Quakers on Monday, August 25. Tee-time is set for 4:00 PM at the Salem Golf Club.
