West Branch would cut into the lead on the next possession capping off a nice scoring drive of 50 yards with a 1 yard Quarterback Sneak. The two-point conversion try was no good leaving the score 8-6 in favor of Louisville.
Pukys would get the Leopards going on their next drive with a 70 yard catch and run on a short screen
pass from Jones. Jones then connected with Carter Rode from 5 yards out for a touchdown. Runningback Nathan Guiley would power his way into the endzone for the conversion giving the Leopards a 16-6 lead.
The defense would do its job holding the Warriors on the next drive which led to a Jones to Burick 26 yard Touchdown pass. That was followed by a successful Grayson Beamer two-point run give Louisville a commanding 24-6 lead. Pukys would intercept a West Branch pass to end the first half with the visiting Leopards in control.
Louisville would take the second half kickoff and 2 plays later Guiley would break the game open with a 63 yard Touchdown scamper capped by a Burick 2 point run making the score 32-6 in favor of the Leopards.
On the first play of the Warriors next drive, the Leopards Drew Layton would strip the ball from the West
Branch runningback and recover the fumble giving the ball back to the offense once again. However, the West Branch defense would rise to the challenge and keep the Leopards out of the endzone following an incomplete fourth down pass attempt from Jones to Pukys.
The Warriors would take over and push the ball out to midfield before failing on their own fourth down. The ball went back to Louisville who sealed the game with one final scoring drive. Following a 20 yard run by Guiley, the offense would take a huge loss of yards on a missed snap forcing them into a 3rd-and-30 situation from the 45 yard line. The Leopards coaching staff dialed up the perfect play call and Jones would once again connect with Burick for one final 55 yard Leopard Touchdown and a 38-6 lead.
West Branch would showed they still had some fight left taking the next possession down the field for a score and completed a two-point conversion pass cutting the lead to 38-14. The Warriors would attempt an onside kick, but Guliey would jump on the loose ball for the Leopards.
Following a Louisville fumble, the defense would put a lid on any thoughts the Warriors had of getting back into the endzone. Bryce Weaver recovered a Warrior fumble and the Leopards would run out the clock for a 38-14 win.
