Freshman Football Rolls in NBC Opener at Alliance
Louisville 34, Alliance 8
The Louisville Leopards Freshman Football Team rolled to a 34-8 road win over the Alliance Aviators at 
Len Dawson Field Thursday Evening. With the victory, Louisville improves to 4-0 overall and 1-0 against NBC foes.
The Leopards took an early 14-0 cushion via the versatility of Davis Burick. Burick ran in a touchdown from 63 yards out on the second play from scrimmage. Then, on the fourth play of the Aviators opening drive, Burick made a leaping interception at the Alliance 46 and took it to the house.
Louisville continued to dominate the first half and added three more scores. Quarterback Colton Jones threw two touchdown passes. The first was a 41 yard strike to Ryan Pukys who spun out of a tackle and ran into the right corner of the endzone. On the second Jones touchdown pass, Carter Rode blew past the secondary for a 30 yard score.

Running back Grayson Beamer also scored on a 35 yard touchdown run with 3:29 left in the first half to 
make it 34-0 Leopards.
Louisville also successfully scored on 2 of 5 conversion attempts. Jones completed a pass to Hunter Selander for the two-point conversion after the first touchdown. Nathan Guiley also powered in for a conversion run that made it 22-0 Leopards in the first quarter.
Louisville recorded 3 takeaways on defense. Defensive Lineman Jason Goard recovered an Alliance fumble and Defensive Back Clayton Elder also intercepted an Aviator pass.
