Hahn’s 6 TDs Lead Leopards Football Past Warriors
Louisville 44, West Branch 20
Quarterback Brody Hahn finished with 380 yards of offense and 6 total touchdowns to lead the Leopards. Hahn carried the ball 13 times for 166 yards, broke free for an 81 yard touchdown run, and also scored on the ground from 5 yards out. He also completed 13 of 19 passes for 214 yards and threw for 4 touchdowns.
Sophomore Max Hartline led all receivers with 7 catches for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns. He hauled in scores from 21 and 12 yards away as part of Louisville’s 28 point second quarter.
Senior Tyler Adams also made 4 catches for 84 yards and turned a short pass into a 43 yard touchdown reception. Adams score gave the Leopards a 10-0 first quarter lead after their first drive resulted in a 30 yard field goal by Placekicker Hannah Baughman. Linebacker Casey Nau intercepted a West Branch pass near the home sideline in-between those scores.
Sophomore Bryce Zuppe caught Hahn’s final touchdown in the back of the endzone just 14 seconds before halftime. The scoring grab was Zuppe’s first varsity touchdown and it put Louisville comfortably ahead 38-6. Hahn converted a key 4th-and-4 earlier to extend the drive.

The first half ended with some fireworks as Leopards Linebacker Justin Vanover bulleted into the Warriors backfield unblocked. His hit on the West Branch Quarterback jarred the ball backward. West Branch would recover, but the play netted a 22 yard loss to end the half. Extracurricular activity followed leading to an ejection of one player.
The mercy rule was enforced in the second half and remained in effect until late in the fourth quarter. Warriors Quarterback TJ DeShields connected with Top Receiver Brett Butcher for a pair of touchdowns in the final period to get the score back to within 30 points.
14 of 24 pass for 195 yards and 3 touchdowns. Butcher was West Branch’s top receiver with 6 catches for 73 yards. Runningback Rob Lozier also carried the ball 8 times for 44 yards and caught an 11 yard touchdown pass from DeShields early in the second quarter.
With the victory, the Leopards have now defeated the Warriors in 4 straight meetings. Louisville now leads the all-time series 25-7, which includes a 13-4 mark at home.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to Carrollton to take on the Warriors on Friday, October 14 at 7:00 PM.
