Eddins Ties Career Low, Boys Golf Downs Salem

The Louisville Leopards earned a convincing 164-204 win against the visiting Salem Quakers at Skyland Pines Golf Club Wednesday. With the win, Louisville is now 2-1 overall and 2-1 in the NBC.
Matt Eddins tied his career low by shooting a 38 for the Leopards. Eddins has previously shot the same score at Carrollton’s Carroll Meadows and West Branch’s Flying B. However, this was his lowest score ever on Louisville’s home course.
Rounding out the scoring for the Leps were Nick Fawver & Cameron Prasco who carded a 41 and Mac Hanson who tallied a 44.
The Quakers were led by Trey Toothman who finished with a team low score of 43. Also scoring for Salem were Bryce Cooper 52, Logan Wilms 54, and Alec Economous 55.
With the victory, the Leopards are now 9-0 against the Quakers since Salem joined the NBC in 2011.
