Louisville Falls in Five-Set Battle at Stow – Boys Volleyball

The Louisville Leopards Boys Volleyball Team battled through five hard-fought sets but came up just short on the road against the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs, falling 25-19, 18-25, 25-20, 11-25, 13-15 Wednesday night. With the loss, the Leopards fall to 7-5 on the season.
Brock Cole Records Team-High 21 Kills
Senior outside hitter Brock Cole delivered a huge offensive performance, finishing with a team-high 21 kills to lead the Leopards. Junior setter Cale Lindner and senior setter Braden Frank combined to orchestrate the offense with 15 and 20 assists respectively.
Senior libero Kyle Deem made his presence felt from the service line with 3 aces and 12 service points, while senior Raiden Lindner anchored the defense with 16 digs.
Louisville came out strong, taking the opening set 25-19, but Stow responded to even the match in the second. The Leopards regained control with a 25-20 third-set win before the Bulldogs forced a decisive fifth set with a 25-11 fourth-set victory. In the final frame, both teams traded points, but Stow edged Louisville 15-13 to secure the match.
