Leopards Tie Comets on Adams 2nd Half Goal – Boys Soccer
Louisville 1, Coventry 1
The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Soccer team rallied in the second half to tie the Coventry Comets 1-1 Thursday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the draw, Louisville is now 1-4-1.
Bailey Adams scored the only Leopards goal in the second half to knot the game at 1-1. Clayton McLaughlin finished with 15 saves in goal and Louisville’s defense shutdown Coventry the rest of the way to preserve the tie.

Jordan Akins gave the Comets the early lead in the first half. Coventry out-shot the Leopards 15-10, but corner kicks were even at 4 a piece.
This was the two schools first meeting since October 7, 2004 when Louisville produced a 6-1 victory. The series is dead even at 2-2-1 all-time.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Massillon Tigers on Saturday, September 9. Game time is set for 7:00 PM at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
