The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team upended the visiting Cleveland Heights Tigers 11-1 Friday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With their first victory of the season, Louisville improves to 1-9 for the campaign.

Colley Scores 4 Goals to Lead Leopards
Junior attack Seth Colley scored in every quarter finishing with 4 goals to lead the Leopards. Fellow junior attackmen Blake Balderson and Brandon Pittman also scored a pair of goals each for Louisville.
Other goal scorers for the Leopards included senior defender Hayden Beckett, sophomore midfielder Kane Johs, and junior midfielder Adler LaScola.
Schaefer Nearly Records Rare Shutout
Louisville led 3-0 at the end of the first and increased their advantage to 4-0 by halftime. The Leopards extended their lead to 7-0 at the end of three and would go on to score the first 10 goals of the game.
Junior goalkeeper Austin Schaefer nearly recorded the second shutout in LHS team history. However, Cleveland Heights broke the shutout with 3:18 left to play. Johns countered with Louisville’s final goal to up the final margin to double digits.
This was the first ever meeting between Louisville and Cleveland Heights in Boys Lacrosse. The Tigers are the 42nd unique opponent that the Leopards have challenged all-time.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to Youngstown to take on the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals on Tuesday, April 30. Game time is slated for 6:00 PM from Cardinal Mooney High School.
