Leopards Season Ends at the Hands of Spartans 64-60
Louisville fell to Boardman in the sectional semifinals at Alliance 64-60 to complete a 7-14 season. Trevor Meredith led the Leps with 16, Mike Kelly had 15, and Jake O’brien scored 11.

Five seniors were honored, but Lake stole the game in the second half 46-39. Mike Kelly led Louisville with 13 points including 3 fourth quarter three-pointers.
The two teams combined to hit 18 three-pointers before Salem pulled ahead for the win. Jake O’brien led the Leps with 19 and Kelly also tacked on 16.
Mike Kelly scored a game-high 27 points, Jake O’brien poured in 12, and Alex Schooley added 10 to lead the Leopards to their 7th win of the season.
The Louisville Leopards boys basketball team drew the 11th seed at the Division I Alliance Tournament draw and will open with Boardman on February 27 at 7:30.
Cody Cheezan and Ronnie Carter led the Leopards with 10 points each, while Trevor Meredith also added 7. Louisville held West Branch to only 12 first half points.
Lucas Strouble scored 32 points and hit a buzzer beater from the foul line to lift Marlington 66-64. Jake O’brien scored 27 points & tied a Louisville record with 7 three-pointers.
Jake O’brien finished with a team-high 15 points, Cody Cheezan dropped in 11, and Mike Kelly also scored 10 to lead the Leopards to their most complete victory of the season.
The Warriors used an 8-0 fourth quarter run to spring ahead before surviving the Leopards 44-40 for their 5th straight win over Louisville. Mike Kelly led the Leps with 10 points.
