Louisville Sweeps Triple Header with Carrollton – Boys Basketball

Louisville Leopards Basketball White Shirt - Beatty's Sports Christmas 2017The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team demolished the visiting Carrollton Warriors 70-37 Friday Night at Louisville High School. With their sixth straight victory, Louisville improves to 9-2 on the season and remains tied for first in the NBC at 6-1.

Spencer Hall scored 16 of his game-high 20 points in the second half to lead the Leopards offensive onslaught. Brandon Wahl also hit a pair of three-pointers and scored 15 and Cam King tallied 9 points off three triples.

Grove Appliance Alliance Ohio AdLouisville never trailed during the game which started with them building a 12-2 advantage. The Leopards led 16-6 after one quarter, 31-19 at halftime, and 48-33 at the end of three. Louisville ripped the game wide open in the fourth outscoring Carrollton 22-4 to take the game in blowout fashion.

The Warriors (2-10, 1-6) were led by Adam Chaney who scored 10 of his team-high 12 points in the second quarter. Chayse Marmo also scored 7 and Brady Benner added 7 for Carrollton.

The Leopards have now defeated the Warriors in 6 straight meetings which includes the last 3 played at LHS. Louisville now leads the all-time series 49-29 dating back to 1926.

The Leopards JV Team held the Warriors to only 3 points in each of the first two quarters en rout to 60-34 victory. With the win, Louisville is now 7-4 overall and 6-1 against conference foes.

Allen Staley scored a game-high 12 points to lead the Leopards. Ryan Pukys also hit double figures with 10 and Carter Rode added 8.

The Warriors were led by Griffen Bagozzi who scored a team-high 10. Al Gotshall also scored 6 and Gage Poole tallied 5.
