Leopards Fall Victim to Wildcats Rally – Baseball
Canton South 6, Louisville 5
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Baseball Team fell to the visiting Canton South Wildcats 6-5 Thursday Evening at the Field of Dreams. With the loss, 
Louisville falls to 9-6 overall and 4-3 in the NBC.
Tyler Adams batted 2-for-3 & scored a pair of runs and Cam King finished 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Leopards. Corey White also cracked a triple and both Brody Hahn & Casey Nau drove in runs.
On the mound, Starter Jordan Shearer pitched 5 innings, gave up 3 earned runs on 6 hits, and struck out 6. Cameron Prasco also struck out 3 in 2 innings of relief.

The Leopards captured the early lead 1-0 after the first inning. Each team added 3 runs in a wild second inning before Louisville tacked on another run in the 
third to go ahead 5-3. However, Canton South rallied back for 2 runs in the fifth and what proved to be the game-winning run in the sixth to take the contest.
The Wildcats were led by Silas Synder who went 2-for-4 with 3 RBIs and Jacob Lutz who drove in a pair of runs. Dalton Frey and JC Phillippi finished with 2 hits each for Canton South.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Howland Tigers in a Double Header on Saturday, April 22 starting at 11:00 AM. JV will be on the road at Howland for a Double Header at the same time and Freshman will travel to Boardman for a twin bill as well.
