Boys Track Earns Highest Placement Ever at Stark County Meet
Boys – 55 (4th Out of 21)
The Louisville Leopards Boys Track team earned 55 points at the Stark County Championships Meet at Perry High School Saturday. This placed them 4th out of the 21 teams participating, which is their highest placement at this meet in school history.
Mitch Cavalier finished first in the Long Jump event beating the second place jumper by over a foot. His jump measured 22-00.50 Feet. Cavalier also took 3rd Place in the High Jump Individually.
The Leopards Relay teams also had 2 third place finishes. These included the 4×800 Meter Relay team of Nick Chaplik, Noah Chaplik, Ben Tornow, & Robert Cuenot and the 4×100 Meter Relay team of Austin Hallas, Andy Minster, Cavalier, & Walter Schrock.
Stark County Championships Meet Full Results
Girls – 53 (5th Out of 18)
The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Track team totaled a score of 53 points at the Stark County Championships Meet Saturday. With that score, they finished in 5th place out of the 18 teams in attendance.
Devin Kring took first place in the 300 Meter Hurdles race with a time of 47.63. The 4×100 Meter Relay team that included Courtney Guiley, Adrianna Beaver, Kring, and Lizzy Mont also took second place.
