Chagrin Falls 16, Louisville 3
The #14 Seed Louisville Leopards Boys Lacrosse Team fell to the top seeded Chagrin Falls Tigers 16-3 in the DII OHSLA Northeast Regional Quarterfinals Saturday Afternoon at C.S. Harris Stadium. With the loss, Louisville finishes the season with a record of 5-7.
Mark Soehnlen scored a pair of goals and Atticus Forbes added another to lead the Leopards. Nate Hostetler also tallied an assist for Louisville.
Chagrin Falls took a 5-1 lead at the end of the first and pulled ahead 10-1 at halftime. The Tigers would outscore the Leopards 6-2 in the third quarter and neither team scored during a continuous running clock in the fourth quarter.
Chagrin Falls improves to 14-2 with the victory and will host the Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders in the DII OHSLA Northeast Regional Semifinals on Wednesday. Louisville is now 4-2 in tournament play all-time.
