Boys Golf’s Undefeated Run Ends on Tie-Breaker Vs. Marlington

Despite shooting a season low of 163, the Louisville Leopards Boys Golf team suffered their first defeat Wednesday at Skyland Pines Golf Club. Marlington defeated Louisville on a 5th card tie-breaker by a single stroke. With the loss, the Leopards are now 7-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play.
Nick Fawver led the way for Louisville by shooting a 37. Matt Eddins, Cameron Prasco, and Heath Williams all shot a 42 to give the Leopards a team score of 163. Dan Duplain’s excellent game of 45 fell just one stroke short of Marlington’s 5th man who recorded a 44.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to West Branch to take on the Warriors on Thursday, August 28. Tee-Time is set for 4:00 PM at the Flying B.
