Boys Golf, McFerren Earn First Victory Against Alliance

The Louisville Leopards earned their first victory of the season with a 164-175 victory over the visiting Beatty's Grey Polo 2015Alliance Aviators Tuesday Evening at Skyland Pines Golf Club. The win is the first of new Head Coach Mike McFerren’s career. Louisville is now 1-1 overall on the young season and is also 1-1 in NBC play.

Mac Hanson led the Leopards with a match-low score of 40. His teammates were not far behind as Matt Eddins & Cameron Prasco each shot a 41 and Nick Fawver & Caleb Prasco each tallied a 42 for Louisville.

The Aviators (3-2, 3-2) were led by Bryce Hood who shot a team-low 41. Rounding out the scoring for Alliance were Leonard Cook 43, Brendan Kelly 45, and Sam Kirk 46.

With the win, the Leopards have now won 18 out of their last 19 meetings against the Aviators since 2005.
