Boys Freshman Basketball Marches Past Marlington
Louisville 44, Marlington 40
The Louisville Leopards Boys Freshman Football Team edged the host Marlington Dukes 44-40 Monday Evening. Louisville has now won eight straight contests and improves to 13-2 overall & 11-0 in the NBC.
Jimmy Wright banged home 4 three-pointers to finish with a game-high 12 to lead the Leopards. Cameron King also scored 9 and Max Hartline dropped in 7 for LHS.
Louisville outscored Marlington in each of the first three quarters to build a 31-24 lead heading into the final stanza. The Dukes won the fourth quarter 16-13, but it would not be enough as the Leopards prevailed.
Lukas Reitz hit 2 three-pointers and finished with a team-high 9 points to lead Marlington. Cam Beachy, Reece Kackley, and David West also added 7 points each for the Dukes.
