Boys Freshman Basketball Finishes Perfect Vs. NBC
Louisville 61, Carrollton 22
The Louisville Leopards Boys Freshman Basketball team demolished the host Carrollton Warriors 61-22 Monday Evening at Carrollton High School. With the victory, Louisville improves to 17-2 overall and finishes their perfect run through the NBC at 14-0.
Spencer Hall finished with a game-high 13 points to lead the Leopards. Cameron King also cashed in 9 and Jimmy Wright tacked on 8.
Louisville hit 9 three-pointers in the contest. King hit 3 and both Jonah Marcek and Wright hit 2 each. All in all 11 different Leopards scored from the field and the team made 26 field goals altogether.
Louisville led 22-4 after the first quarter and were up by 30 at the half. They then outscored the Warriors 4-3 in the third quarter and doubled up Carrollton 16-8 in the final period.
The Leopards have now won 12 consecutive games overall.
