The Louisville Leopards Boys Freshman Basketball team defeated the host Minerva Lions 50-38 Beatty's Winter 2015 Grey and Blue HoodieThursday Evening to clinch the NBC Outright. Louisville has now won 10 straight games and improves to 15-2 overall and 12-0 in the conference.

Kaleb McCartney scored a game-high 14 points to lead the Leopards. Spencer Hall also dropped in 9 and Jimmy Wright hit 3 of Louisville’s 5 three-pointers to finish with 9 for LHS.

The Leopards led 11-6 after the first quarter before pulling out to a double digit 27-16 halftime lead. Louisville extended their lead to 41-26 at the end of three and rolled to the win after that.

The Lions were led by Reece Catlett who scored a team-high 11 points. Phillip Boord also scored 8 and Alex Kimble added 6.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Canton South Wildcats on Thursday, January 21 at 5:00 PM.
